Day 5 : Final Year Project Award

Today... i start with a refreshing feelings .... maybe just to want cover all my stress due to the competition today..
i heard, they prepared banners + posters + bunting for this competition... hurm... thinking bout that, am i the only person who just prepare a PowerPoint slides for the competition??? Oh mann...!! suddenly i feel like wanna change my direction to PGB... better be there ..enjoying My Lovely Internship Moments.. but i already took an Off day prior to the presentation...

Once arrived... as i planned.. i'm late again... maybe i love to to be in a hassle position... ahaks..:) With a laptop hanging on my left shoulders,my right hand with an empty cage.... searching and wondering around to find my place..

At last... the last person to arrive... placed at the edge of the room... no 10th presenter doesnt change my mood at all.....

With all my guts, i just proceed with my presentations to all the peoples who seemed interested... on the other side.. it actually released my tension of facing all the other participants who actually seems ready to jack the judge with their so called banners......

Once evaluated, i just hope my project could give an impact to all the peoples.. not only the judge... actually, i dont care about this competition at all.... what i do care is, people would notice what i bring to improve our lives from the air-borne attack by those nuisance mosquitoes....

Fortunately...., i did win a prize... "MOST INNOVATIVE PROJECT FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT"... Yeah..!! at last.. all my hard worked being paid... !! so... who said i cant?????? YES!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

Day 4: What is PGB (PETRONAS GAS BERHAD) ??

History & Background

PETRONAS GAS was incorporated in malaysia on 23rd May 1983 under the Companies Act, 1965, as a private limited company and commenced business on 1 April 1984. It was initially a wholly oen subsidiary of Petronas known as PETRONAS Gas Sdn Bhd. The company was converted into public limited company and changed its name to PETRONAS Gas Bhd ((PGB).

PGB Roles

• To provide gas processing , transmission and marketing services for PETRONAS as per GPTA.
• To produce and market industrial utilities to customers.
• Provide PGU system as the hub of gas infrastructure in the ASEAN Region. 

The main Role of TFDD is to provide technical facilities development services that conform to PGB's and PETRONAS requirement. This would include the enhancement of facilities/capacity and system integration, technical feasibilities and support for business growth/expansion and develop technical capabilities in plant, transmission and utility facilities projects execution.

Major Function Activities of TFDD :

1. Project Management
2. Engineering Management
3. Project control
4. Quality Assurance
5. Project Administration
6. Data management

Day 3 : PGB Overview

urm... n again.. i have problem in getting the pass....

PGB wont give me a temporary pass since im only gonna be here for 3 months... so i have to leave my IC... only i get the pass....

2nd day here.... i enjoyed the scenery from level 49... where my office is actually located... everything is so tiny from here...

My dept boss... Mr Khaidzir, just ask me hold on because he already assigned under the supervision of the senior engineer.....Mr Adli... but currently, he is outstation ....so, im just gonna meet him sooner...

so, i asked for a documentation or journal about PGB that i could read to fill my time.... Then, i was introduced to the PGB management person... Mr. Hafiz..

He brief me about PGB in terms of business prospect, designs and industrial background which clearly gave an overview how PGB works

Day 2 : FYP Vs Internship

day 2....

hurm... i already asked an exception for today from my boss..Mr Khaidzir.. i have to attend the FYP 2 presentation today....

ooooooowhhhhhh...!!! my heart pumping like Micheal Schumacher Ferrari engine pistons... maybe because im not that ready since my days are preoccupied by the Internship and thesis submissions.... damn stress mannnnn!!

My worst nightmare came through once i got to the campus. Electricity went down, its like UNITEN have been ambushed by the terrorist... ceiling fell over the floors... water flooded at every floor... owh GOD!! whats happening...!!

suddenly, an angel like whispering from behind my ears.... "BN building is closed, all the presentation have been reallocated".... "try to refer your name at the entrance door".... in flash, i saw, Mr Wong Hung Way's name.. "WONG HUNG WAY: BM level 2"

Like a Porsche, i ran to BM level 2.. but, where the hell they are... i couldnt see any human being presenting their FYP.. what i saw, is just a smelly carpets on the doorways... My unfortunate events getting worst once i realised, i forgot to bring my phones..SHIT!!

To make it short.. i found Tambun, my classmate... he lend me his phone n try to call Masud.. Luckily he pick up after several calls... Actually, the presentation is located at the end of level 2 buildings near to the lecturer's pantry.. Without hesitation, i just proceed to present my Project (Mosquito Repellent Using Handphone)... Suddenly the wheel rotates... my project are nominated to enter the excellent project awards on this Friday 19th April 2010...

YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Internship At PETRONAS GAS BHD

1st Day ( 5th April 2010)

Brief overview of the Company itself.... nothing much

1st...

i have to register at the counter in order to get a pass.. well, as i imagine, i have to wait for quiet some time (30 mins...damn!) to get the pass... yeah..!! a normal practice... but i don't blame them..

A middle-aged lady confront me and intoduce her self as representative from HRM.(Human Resource)

She brought me to level 50!! WOW!! at first, i cant imagine how it suppose to be!

HR just tour me around and yet... i'm still wondering where am i suppose to be...!!

After a brief explanation about the regulations including attire, punctuality & diciplines...

She said she will tour me to the division suitable for me... TFDD (Technical & Facilities Development Division)... HHHUUURRMM sounds great!

Ive been absorbed in the ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT... so, 1st day is all about my 1st tour to PGB .... hehehehehehe
